| 1 | In a large pot, saute the onions in olive oil over low heat. Add in all ingredients except the last two. Cook on low heat for at least 2 hours for the flavor to develop. Before serving, swirl in the half and half at the table in each bowl, then drop in the mozzarella slices. Serve with a fresh salad and sourdough bread.
You can halve the recipe by using half the amounts. |
