1/4	cup	margarine
1	medium (2-1/2" dia)	Onion, chopped
1/2	cup, grated	Carrots
2	cups	chicken broth (10.5 ounce can)
8	cups diced	potatoes
16	ounces	polish sausage
24	tablespoons	cheese whiz
2	cups	cream, half and half
1/8	teaspoon	black pepper, ground
4	fliud ounces	guiness

Steps

Sequence	Step

1	Saute Onions in 3qt stock pot
2	Add chicken broth and potatoes. Simmer over medium heat until potatoes are soft
3	Lightly mash potatoes leave some lumps
4	add cheese stir unitl melted
5	add half and half and pepper
6	Add carrots, beer and chiorzo
