poundBeef, ground, 90% lean meat / 10% fat, raw

cupsspaghetti sauce

cup (8 fl oz)water

cupsricotta cheese

cups, shreddedCheese, mozzarella, low sodium

cupgrated parmesan

largeeggs, beaten

tablespoonsparsley, chopped

teaspoonsalt
1/4
teaspoonblack pepper

Steps
Sequence Step
1Brown beef in a 3 qt. sauce pan; drain.
2Add sauce and water to sauce pan with drained beef. Simmer for 10 minutes.
3Combine remaining ingredients (except lasagna noodles) in separate medium bowl for filling.
4Pour about 1 cup of sauce at bottom of 13"x9"x2" glass baking pan.
5Layer 3 pieces of uncooked lasagna over sauce.

6Cover with about 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
8Spread half of cheese filling over sauce.
9Repeat layers of lasagna, sauce, and cheese filling.
10Top with a layer of lasagna and remaining sauce.
11Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.
12Remove foil and bake 10 minutes longer.
13Allow to stand for about 10 minutes before cutting for easier handling.
