Ingredients

cup (8 fl oz)water, warm (110 degrees)

tablespoonsMargarine spread(trans-fat-free, chilled)

teaspoonsalt

cupsflour, bread (KA brand best) or High Gluten flour

cupflour unbleached, whole wheat, all-purpose

cupsOat bran, raw
1/4
cupsugar

teaspoonsyeast, active dry (quick rise)
Steps
Sequence Step
1In a 2 cup glass measure, measure water and margarine, add egg and mix well. Place mixture in the pan of your bread machine and add salt. Measure flour, sugar and oat bran on top of water mixture, make a small well in the top and add yeast. Set your machine for dough. When the cycle is complete, remove dough with floured hands to a floured board (dough will be sticky) and cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Shape into a loaf and place in a grease loaf pan. Cover and let rise until double, bake at 350* for 25 to 30 minutes.
