Amt. Measure Ingredient
packageyeast, active dry (1/4) oz.
cups (8 fl oz)filtered water
teaspoonkosher salt
tablespoonolive oil, extra virgin
cupsflour, bread (KA brand best) or High Gluten flour
Sequence Step
1Heat water to 110 degrees. Add to warm large mixing bowl. Sprinkle yeast over warm water. Let stand 10 minutes, until foamy.
2Attach dough hook to stand mixer. Attach mixing bowl with yeast mixture and add Salt, olive oil and bread flour. Stir on medium low speed for 2 minutes until smooth.
3Place dough in bowl coated with olive oil and turn to coat. Cover with towel and place in warm spot to rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
4Punch down dough, cover and let rise again for 45 minutes.
5On lightly floured surface, turn dough out onto lightly floured surface. Roll out to desired shape and place on oiled pizza pan.
6Top with sauce and favorite ingredients.
7Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until edges are browned and cheese is melted on top.
