poundtop sirloin, cut into soup size cubes
Steps
Sequence Step
1Caramelize onions, carrots and celery in olive oil until deep brown. Add in tomato paste, chard stalks diced and spices and cook for a few minutes deglaze pan with 2-3 cups of stock.
2Brown meat in separate large soup pan. Add vegetable mixture to pan. Add tomatoes and chopped chard leaves. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add pasta and simmer until pasta is done al dente.
