cupsTomatoes, red, ripe, canned, whole, no salt added

cups (8 fl oz)beef broth, low sodium
Steps
Sequence Step
1Caramelized onions, carrots, celery. Add chard and tomato paste, garlic if desired.
2Deglaze pan with stock.
3Brown meat in large soup pot. Add basil, italian seasoning, fresh ground pepper to taste. When browned add vegetables from pan, tomatoes, stock, and chard leaves. Simmer about 30-45 minutes until all veggies are tender. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Serve topped with a little olive oil and fresh parmesan cheese
