Recipe Description A delicious and filling chili that everyone loves. This is a mild chili that's great for kids. You can adjust the heat by adding crushed red pepper or fresh jalapeno or habanero pepper.

Steps

1In a glass pie pan, break up ground beef, cover with waxed paper and microwave for approximately 4 minutes on high power. Spray a 3-quart saucepan with cooking spray. Add pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook over medium heat until onion is tender. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, cooked hamburg, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Ladle into bowls and serve with optional toppings.
