tablespoonoregano (fresh) chopped

tablespoonbasil, fresh, chopped

teaspoonbalsamic vinegar

teaspoonsalt

teaspoonblack pepper, ground
Steps
Sequence Step
1In skillet, heat olive oil and add onion, garlic and bay leaf. Stir until slightly browned, approx. 6 mins.
2Push onion, garlic to side and add tomato paste. Cook for 2-3 mins. while slowly integrating onion/garlic to paste. Paste should be slightly darker than the beginning.
3Add crushed tomatoes, parsley, oregano, basil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Increase heat and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 mins. Remove bay leaf.
