| 1 | Soak dry black beans overnight. Drain and add fresh water the next day. Cook beans for about an hour. Drain most of the liquid.
In a skillet, sauté onions, peppers, and garlic until tender. Add chili powder, oregano, cumin, and cayenne powder. Add the vegetables and spices to the beans. Cook for 30-40 minutes. Add cilantro, sour cream , or cheese to taste. |
