Steps
Sequence Step
1OVER MEDIUM HEAT TOAST THE ALMONDS UNTIL LIGHTLY GOLDEN THEN ADD QUINOA. CONTINUE TOASTING UNTIL THE GRAIN BEGINS TO DARKEN. COMBINE THE GRAIN AND ALMONDS WITH THE REMAINING INGREDIENT IN A COVERED SAUCEPAN AND PRINT TO A BOIL. REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 2O MINUTES. REMOVE AND LET SIT COVERED FOR 5 MINUTES BEFORE FLUFFING WITH A FORK TO SERVE.
