Ingredients

cups (8 fl oz)water

packagesinstant yeast (Fleishmans, Red Star)

tablespoonshoney

teaspoonssalt

tablespoonsOil, canola and soybean

cupsall-purpose flour unbleached

tablespoonswheat germ
1/2
cup, stirredsoy flour
3/4
cupnon-fat instant milk
Steps
Sequence Step
1Place in large bowl the yeast, water, honey, salt and oil. Mix and let stand
2Measure and stir the flour, wheat germ, soy flour and nonfat dry milk
3Stir the liquids and add while stirring 1/2 to 3/4 of flour mixture
4Beat vigorously, 75 strokes by hand or 2 minutes with electric mixer
5Add remaining flour mixture
6Work and mix the flour in for about 5 minutes
7Knead the dough, using 1 to 3 cups more flour til dough is smooth
8Place in oil bowl and let rise for 1 hour
9Punch dough sown and let rise for another 20 mins or until double again. Turn onto board and divide into 3 portions. Cover and let stand for 10 mins
10Shape portions into loafs and place in oiled pans. Let rise in pan until double the size or about 45 mins.
11Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 mins or until golden brown
