cups fluid (yields 2 cups whipped)heavy cream

crust, single 9"Graham cracker pie crust
1/3
cupsemisweet chocolate baking bits

teaspoonsShortening, melted
Steps
Sequence Step
1Sprinkle gelatin over water in saucepan. Add 1/2 sugar and salt. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.
2Beat yolks for 5 min. Drizzle gelatin into yolks beating constantly. Put back in pan and add lemon juice. Cook until thickens and bubbles around edges, stirring.
3Beat cream and sugar until soft peaks. Add cooled mixture and beat until stiff peaks.
4Add half to crust. Melt chips and shortening. Drizzle over filling. Add rest of filling. Drizzle rest of chips on tops.
5Chill 2 hrs.
