| 1 | Cut about 1/3 of the Strawberries in half(take off green stems) | 2 | In a saucepan over medium heat, combine strawberries, sugar, and vanilla | 3 | Cook, stiring occasionally, until sauce thickens, about five minutes. | 4 | Remove form heat. | 5 | In a blender, Puree the sauce and about 1/3 of the remianing strawberrys. | 6 | Place in refrigerator and serve chilled. (can be severed hot as well) |
