1 | Heat Oven to 350 |
2 | Use a small saucepan or a microwave safe container and bring the 3 tablespoons of water to a boil. |
3 | Mix together 1 tablespoon of cold water and cornstarch. |
4 | Mix the cornstarch mixture into the boiling water. Stir this constantly on low heat for about 2 minutes, then remove from heat. |
5 | Add the butter (softened) and the Splenda to the hot mixture. |
6 | Add the Cinnamon and the Nutmeg to the mixture |
7 | Peel and core the apple, then cut it into bite-sized pieces. |
8 | Put the apple pieces into the cornstarch mixture and mix thoroughly. |
9 | Spray a small oven-safe dish with cooking spray and then place the apple mixture into the dish. |
10 | Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for approximately 30 minutes -- just until apples are tender. |
