crust, single 9"Pie crust, standard-type, frozen, ready-to-bake, unenriched

medium slices (packed 20/lb)bacon

cupscream, half and half, fat free

Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 350 Degress F.
2Line pastry curst with double layer of aluminium foil. Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 4-5 min more, or until crust is set. remove from oven to cool.
3Cook bacon over medium high heat until evenly brown. Remove bacon from pain, crumble and set aside. Reserve 2 Tablespoons bacon grease in skillet. Cook onion in reserved dripping until tender. Drain and set aside.
4In large bowl, mix together eggs, half and half, and salt. Beat with wisk. Stir in bacon and onion. In a separate bowl, toss cheese and flour together. Add cheese to egg mixture. stir well. Pour mixture into pastry shell.
5Bake for 50 minutes or unitl knife insterted into center comes out clean. If necessary, cover edges of crust with foil to preven tburning. Let quiche cool for 10 minutes before serving.
