Ingredients
Amt. Measure Ingredient
6
cups (8 fl oz)Chicken broths
2
cups, chopped or dicedChicken, meat only, stewed
1
1/2
cupsegg noodle pasta
1
cup slicesCarrots, baby
1
cup, dicedcelery, diced (about 1 cup)
1/2
packages (10 oz)green pepper, finely chopped
2
cups (8 fl oz)water
2
teaspoonskosher salt
1
tablespoonblack pepper, ground
Steps
Sequence Step
1Pre stew a whole chicken and use dark meat for soup. (I use breasts for chicken salad). I actually pressure cook the chicken in the broth and water, then remove all skin and bones. Strain liquid for pieces.
2Put everything except dry noodles into the pot (or pressure cooker) and cook till veggies are all tender.
3When soup is boiling hot, turn off stove (in pressure cooker, release steam and open lid). Add dry egg noodles and cover pot (close cooker again). The soup will be hot enough to cook the noodles without over cooking them.
