Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C.) Lightly spray mini muffin or mini donut baking sheet with Baking Spray with Flour.
2In bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3In separate bowl mix together applesauce and brown sugar. Mix for 5 minutes, add Egg Beater mix 1 more minute.
4To wet mixture (applesauce
5In small bowl, take the mini chocolate chips and dredge in 1 t. whole wheat flour (this prevents the chocolate chips from sinking to the bottom of the muffin batter.)When all the chocolate chips are coated with flour, dump the contents of the small bowl into the muffin batter. FOLD IN THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS WITH WOODEN SPOON, DO NOT OVERMIX.
6Using a tablespoon scooper, scoop one tablespoon into each muffin or mini donut well.
7Bake for 13 minutes. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes. Remove and put on paper plate or wire rack to cool.
