Steps
Sequence Step
1Place oil in skillet and place in oven. Preheat to 450
2Boil water and pour/mix with 1/3 c corn meal. Make a mush.
3mix remaing corn meal with dry ingredients.
4To the corn meal mush add buttermilk...slowly.... whisk egg and add.
5Remove hot skillet/oil from oven. Mix wet and dry ingredient ''''till just incorporated....add oil from hot skillet...mix... and pour back into skillet.
