Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. Spread oats, sunflower seeds, almonds and wheat germ on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. When done, remove from oven and reduce heat to 300 degrees.
2Butter or spray a 9x6 baking pan and set aside.
3In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, heat honey, sugar, peanut butter,butter, vanilla and salt until sugar is completely disolved and the mixture is bubbly.
4Add the flour to the dry ingredients and pour all into a heatproof mixing bowl. Add cranberries and pour peanut butter mixture over all and stir thoroughly.
5Quickly pour into baking dish, and with buttered hands, carefully press mixture evenly and firmly into pan.
6Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool in pan till just barely warm. Cut into 15 squares.
