| 1 | Slice and peel peaches
Preheat oven to 400 F | 2 | Pour melted butter into a 18x9 in baking dish. | 3 | In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, sugar and a pinch of salt. Stir in milk and almond extract, if using; mix only until combined. | 4 | Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. | 5 | Ladle fruit over the top of the batter. | 6 | Bake in preheated ove for 25-35 min or until batter rised to the top. | 7 | Serve as is, while still warm, or top with vanilla ice cream. |
