1 | Place baking stone in oven on lowest level and preheat oven to 475. |
2 | Whisk flour, instant yeast and sugar together in small bowl |
3 | Whisk in salt |
4 | Make a well in the center |
6 | Gradually stir flour into water until moistened and dough begins to form |
7 | Pour oil into small bowl |
8 | Place dough in oiled bowl |
9 | Cover tightly |
10 | Let sit 1 hour or until doubled |
11 | Oil your hands and lift dough out of bowl |
12 | Pour a little of left over oil onto the pizza pan |
13 | Put dough into pan and press to deflate it. |
14 | Press dough into a 10 inch circle |
15 | Brush dough with remaining oil |
16 | Let sit for 30 min. (skip this step if in a hurry -- turns out as crisper crust) |
17 | Set pizza pan (or cookie sheet) directly on stone and bake 5 min. |
18 | Top pizza with favorite ingredients |
19 | Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted |
