Recipe Description The recipe is really good, cooking time is 1 hour 15 mins for single, if doubled, cook time is as long as 2 hours. Use meat thermometer to check for doneness.

can (10.75 oz)Cream of Mushroom condensed soup

poundsground beef, 80% lean meat

cupsquick-cooking oats

largeegg, beaten
1/3
cups, choppedfinely Onion chopped

tablespoonWorcestershire sauce

cup (8 fl oz)water

Sequence Step
1In large bowl, thoroughly mix 1/2 cup of the soup, ground beef, oats, egg, onion and worcestershire sauce. In a 12x8 inch baking pan, firmly shape meat into 8 x 4 inch loaf. (Use larger pan if doubling recipe). Bake at 350 F for 1 1/4 hours or until done (using a meat thermometer).
2Pour off all but 3 tablespoons drippings from the pan. Stir remaining soup and water into drippings in pan, scraping up brown bits from the bottom. Over medium heat, heat soup mixture until hot, stirring constantly. Serve gravy with meat loaf. Makes 8 servings.
