Chicken Paprika
Ingredients

medium slices (packed 20/lb)bacon chopped

cup, slicedOnion, chopped

pound, rawchicken breast halves, boneless, skinless

tablespoonPaprika

tablespoonsflour unbleached
1/2
teaspoonsalt
1/2
teaspoonblack pepper

cupschicken broth or stock

1Brown bacon pieces in non stick skillet .
2Add chopped onion and cook 3-4 min.
3Cut chicken breast into small (1-2 inch) pieces.
4Mix flour, paprika, salt and pepper and coat chicken in mixture.
5Add chicken to skillet with bacon and onion and brown slightly.(5-6 minutes)
6Add chicken stock and cover pan. Simmer on low heat 40-50 minutes.




Spatzle
Ingredients

teaspoonsalt

mediumegg, beaten

cup (8 fl oz)water
Steps
Sequence Step
1Bring to boil 2 qt of water in large saucepan
2Add 1 tsp salt to boiling water.
3In a large bowl, combine egg and 1 cup water.
4Mix flour and 1/2 tsp salt.
5Add flour mix to egg water gradually. (Batter will be very sticky and break from a spoon, instead of pouring)
6Spoon batter into boiling water by teaspoon full, dipping spoon into water each time.
8Remove with slotted spoon and set aside in warm bowl.
9Add cooked noodles (spaetzle) to chicken pan and simmer to heat through.
