cupwheat flour, wholewheat

cups, packedraisins, seedless
Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
2In large bowl, blend butter, sugar and eggs. Add the vanilla, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
3Slowly add oats, flour and raisins (OR ANY DRIED FRUITS OF YOUR CHOICE) until mixed well.
4Drop the dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets (about 2 inches apart). Bake for 11-13 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove cookies with spatula and cool on wire rack.
5CREATOR NOTES: I bake these cookies on parchment paper lined cookie sheets for 11 minutes, then take out to cool for a softer cookie. They will continue to cook while cooling and this keeps them from getting too hard.
