| 1 | Cut sausage into rounds and brown in stew pot. | 2 | Add chicken, continue to brown. | 3 | Add frozen veggies and cover to let them thaw a bit. | 4 | Add rice and chicken broth. Let it come to a good simmer. | 5 | Add some water to cover veggies. Cover and simmer on low-med heat. | 6 | Add water and stir every 10-15 minutes as it is absorbed. Keep covered over low heat until rice is cooked. Then it is ready to serve. |
