| 1 | Combine oats, water, and butter. Heat uncovered on med-high heat until mixture comes to a simmer. Stir and reduce heat to med-low. Cook for five minutes, stirring frequently. | 2 | Slowly add in egg whites, whipping vigorously. Add in vanilla and stir mixture until it is well-blended. | 3 | Cook for four minutes more bringing oats back to a simmer and stirring frequently. | 4 | Cover and remove from heat. Sit covered five minutes. Stir in banana, flaxseed, and brown sugar (optional) and enjoy immediately |
