1 | Combine 3 cups of the flour, yeast, salt and sugar |
2 | Combine warm water and oil |
4 | Add remaining 3 cups of flour (I usually use my hand to mix. It appears to help the dough rise better) |
5 | Knead dough on a floured surface for approximately 10 minutes (until not sticky) then place into a bowl (put a little oil in the bowl to keep the dough from sticking) |
6 | Cover Bowl (I use plastic wrap) and less rise until doubled - approximately 1 hour |
7 | Divide dough into 2, knead in hand for a minute then place into bread pan to let rise again. - again about 1 hour |
8 | When bread has risen, bake for 45 minutes at 375. When finished brush with melted butter. |
