| 1 | Put olive oil, water, lemon juice, bay leaf, garlic in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. | 2 | Cover and simmer for 15 minutes on medium heat. | 3 | Remove bay leaf. | 4 | Add mushrooms to pan and simmer for 5 minutes. | 5 | Turn off heat and let mushrooms cool in the marinade for at least 4 hours. | 6 | Serve at room temperature or refrigerate.
