Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat grill, can use same recipe for waffles, Spray if needed with nonstick cooking spray.
2Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda,salt, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg in a large bowl and mix together. Set aside. Can use pumpkin pie spice instead of all the spices - I find this spice a little strong and prefer to use the different spices.
3Combine the oil, molasses, pumpkin,and the buttermilk in a small bowl and set aside.
4Whisk the egg and SPLENDA( can use Sugar Twin Brown Sugar for a different taste) together until blended in a separate bowl. Slowly add the buttermilk mixture, whisking until blended. Add the mixture slowly to the dry ingredients, stirring until just moistened.
5Pour the batter onto the hot grill and cook until done. Serve with maple syrup.
