Steps
Sequence Step
1preheat oven to 450 degrees
2Sift together: Flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3In a separate bowl, mix the sweet potatoes and butter. Then add the flour mixture to the potatoes and stir to make a soft dough.
4Slowly add milk to mixture and continue to stir. Stop adding milk if dough becomes runny.
5Turn the dough out onto a floured board and toss lightly until the outside of the sough looks smooth. Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.
6Place the biscuits on a greased pan. Bake for roughly 15 minutes. Watch your oven! if biscuits are browning to fast, reduce heat.
