| 1 | Combine oats, flour, baking soda, and nutmeg and mix well. Add the applesauce, sugar and vanilla extract and mix well. | 2 | Coat cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. Place balls 1 1/2 inches apart. Use the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar to faltten cookies to 1/4-inch thickness. | 3 | Bake at 275 for about 22 minutes or until ightly browned. Transfer to wire racks and cool completely. |
