Steps
Sequence Step
1Dry Beef strips (1/4") into Jerky 8 Hours at 155deg F
2Grind jerky into powder in food processor
3Chop nuts and dates
4Grind dried blueberries in coffee grinder into powder
5Heat Grass-fed beef tallow in skillet until melted - not too hot - do not cook it.
6Mix all dry ingredienst together thoroughly
7pour in honey and tallow and mix thoroughly. Enough tallow to make it all stick together like cookie dough
8Press into glass baking dish or rectangular pan (~1/2 " thick) set in refrogerator (wax paper on top helps you smooth it out and keep it covered.
10When hard , cut into bars and seal in vacuum packs. Place in fridge but does not require refrigeration . Ready for thetrail !
