1 | mix yeast in warm water and 1/3 teas. of sugar. Allow yeast to work. |
2 | Heat milk to near scald. |
3 | mix milk, oil, salt and 2 teaspoons sugar. Allow to cool to yeast temperature. |
4 | Add yeast mix to Milk mix. |
5 | Sift flour. Add Flax seed meal. |
6 | Stir flour mix into milk mix. Stir well till blended. Batter will be thin. cover with towel, place in warm locate and allow to sit and raise for 30 minutes. |
7 | Heat griddle to 300 degrees. set out 9 rings. Spray with cooking spray. Ladle batter into the nine rings, about 1/2 cup per ring. cook for 5-6 minutes. Flip. Cook for another 5-6 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. |
8 | cut in half with a fork and toast. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. |
