tablespoonground flax seed meal

cupcranberries, dried, sweetened

Steps
Sequence Step
1Mix the brown sugar, applesauce and molasses in a mixing bowl and stir well.
2Whisk the flax seeds in a small bowl with 2 tablespoons of water, for about 10 seconds. Mix in with the wet ingredients and stir well.
3Sift the dry ingredients (including spices) into a seperate bowl.
4Mix the wet and dry ingredients and stir well until combined.
5If desired, mince the dried cranberries. Add to the cookie dough and stir well to combine.
6Using a cookie scoop, roll out dough balls (about 1 Tbs.) and roll in white sugar. Place on baking sheets and lightly press them down.
7Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake cookies for 10-13 minutes, watching carefully so that they don''t burn.
