Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8x8 pan and set aside.
2In a large bowl, combine oats, oat flour, protein powder, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, brown sugar (can substitute Stevia if you prefer), flax meal and hemp hearts.
3In another bowl, combine applesauce, vanilla and milk. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix just to combine.
4Fold in the 1/4cup of chocolate chips.
5Pour mixture into baking pan and cook for 25-30mins. Sides start to pull away from the pan and cracks start to appear when it is done.
6Allow to cool completely before cutting into kid-sized bars.
7For chocolate drizzle, place 3 T. of chocolate chips in a resealable plastic bag and microwave in 30 second increments, kneading bag until chocolate has melted.
