Recipe Description I warn everyone...it is the bomb. No, really. It's super high calorie, but I think (if I may say so myself) it is absolutely worth it :)

Steps
Sequence Step
1Meat sauce: Heat the olive oil in a sauce pan. Add chopped onions, peppers, parsley and garlic. Let it brown a bit, then add ground beef. Mince it as much as possible so that you don''t get big chunks in the sauce. After meat is cooked, add tomato sauce, oregano, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, and the basil. Then slowly add some water. Be careful not to make the sauce too liquid. (Use your judgement). Add salt and pepper to taste.
2Béchamel sauce: In a separate sauce pan, pour 1 cup of milk, and 1 and a half cups of water. Before it heats up, beat the flour in until it doesn''t even show. Star heating. Keep constantly stirring (you do not want any lumps), add 1/2 a teaspoon of nutmeg and salt to taste. Again, DON''T STOP STIRRING. Then add the butter. Keep heating and stirring until the sauce thickens. The thickness of the sauce depends on how cooked your sauce is (and how well cooked the noodles are).
3Cook the noodles (not too much as they will finish cooking in the oven) al dente.
4Start layering. Start with saucing up the baking pan with béchamel sauce. Then make a layer of noodles. Betchamel again. Then, make a layer of the meat sauce and top it (not too much) with shredded mozzarella. Repeat until you run out of noodles. The top layers should be meat sauce and mozzarella (most of it). And finally, top the mozzarella with parmesan cheese.
5Heat ove at 400 F. Since everything is already cooked, the baking time is not long. 20 to 25 minutes will do the trick or until the cheese starts getting golden brown. If it doesn''t within the 20 minutes you bake it, put it on broil for a minute or two. But KEEP AN EYE ON IT!
