1 | Line a 13 X 9 pan with foil and butter foil excessivly. |
2 | In a medium sauce pan heat the cream and sweetened condenced milk on low and just keep warm |
3 | In a heavy pan combine sugar, lite corn syrup (Karo) and salt. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly. Boil the mixture for 1 minute. |
4 | Once mixutre is boiling slowly add 1/4 cup milk mixture at a time stirring for 3 minutes between each addition. (Takes about 45 minutes to incorperate all of the milk mixture) |
5 | Cook to 242 degrees for firm ball stage. |
6 | Remove from heat and add vanilla. |
7 | Quickly pour in to foiled and buttered pan. Let set in a cool place for several hours to set. (Do not refregerate) |
