1 | Preheat oven to 375°F. |
2 | In a bowl, combine the warm water, sugar and yeast. |
3 | Allow to sit for 5 minutes. |
4 | Add the oil, flour and salt and mix until the dough is formed. |
5 | Knead dough, adding more flour if necessary to avoid stickiness. |
6 | Knead for 5 minutes. |
7 | Place in an oiled bowl, turning the dough to evenly coat with oil. |
8 | Cover with a damp towel and allow dough to rise in a warm place for 30-45 minutes until doubled in size. |
9 | Remove bowl and divide dough into two portions. |
10 | Roll out each portion into a 14”x10" rectangle. |
11 | to prepare filling: In a bowl, combine butter, sugars, flour and cinnamon. |
12 | Spread mixture over each dough rectangles. |
13 | Roll up lengthwise, seal edges and cut into 1 ½" sections. |
14 | Place on a parchment lined baking sheet ½" apart. |
15 | Cover with a damp towel and allow filling to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. |
16 | Bake in the preheated oven for 22-27 minutes, or until golden. |
17 | Allow to cool before applying frosting. |
18 | for the frosting: Using a mixer, combine the cream cheese, yogurt and sugar until creamy. |
19 | Spread over cinnamon rolls and serve. |
