large (3-1/4" dia) (approx 2 per lb)apple- chopped

pear, large (approx 2 per lb)pear- chopped

teaspoonsfresh ginger, grated

tablespoonscinnamon, ground

stickmargarine

cupsapple juice
Steps
Sequence Step
1Chop apples and pears, leaving skin on, and grate ginger.
2Preheat skillet over medium heat, add margarine and melt it, then add apples and pears. Cook for aprox. 4 minutes, or until fruit begins to become fragrant.
3Add ginger and cinnamon, and cook until ginger becomes fragrant, stirring often.
4Add apple juice and increase to high heat. Allow juice to boil and reduce down until it thickens.
