Recipe Description I've combined several recipes to come up with what I think to be the best caramel corn ever!

cupcorn syrup

teaspoonbaking soda

teaspoonvanilla extract
Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
2Spray 2 large foil roasting pans with cooking spray.
3In microwave pop 3 bags of plain popcorn and pour them evenly into the 2 prepared roasting pans.
4Place the roasting pans with popcorn into the 250 degree oven to keep the popcorn warm while you prepare the caramel.
5Melt the butter, sugar, corn syrup, and salt over medium heat and bring to a boil stirring constantly.
6Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
7Remove from heat and stir in the baking soda and vanilla. (caramel mixture will fluff up)
8Evenly pour the caramel mixture over the warm popcorn.
9Stir to coat all of the popcorn.
10Place roasting pans back into the oven and allow to cook for 30 mins, stirring well after 15 and then again after 30 mins.
11Spread caramel corn out onto waxed paper to break up and allow to cool.
12Place into airtight containers and enjoy!
