The 6 reasons I adore these 6-ingredient, 6-step yummy Spring treats? 1.) The main character is a fruit; mommies will approve. 2.) Heart-healthy dark chocolate is the sidekick. 3.) The delicate sponge cake, layered with sweet fruit and silky caramel crunch is like texture city central. 4.) Contrary to freshly baked cookies, you can enjoy them at your leisure by sticking them in the freezer until you are ready to serve. 5.) On that note NO BAKING required! 6.) Bite-sized means seconds, thirds, and fourths is not only allowed, but seriously recommended!

.) In a large microwave-safe bowl melt chocolate chips for approximately two minutes OR until chocolate is smooth and glossy. Stir every 30 seconds to prevent burning. (Add a teaspoon of vegetable oil if chocolate seems clumpy)
.) Using a fork or your fingers dip each banana piece into the warm chocolate shaking off the excess. Immediately rest on wax or parchment paper. (I like to line a small baking pan with the paper to make the transfer process easy)
.) Sprinkle the top of each chocolate covered banana with sprinkles and immediately place the tray in your freezer to set.
.) Using a sharp knife slice pound cake into thin uniform-square bite-sized pieces.
.) Once the bananas are firm, remove them from the freezer and rest each one on a piece of cake. Gently press down.
.) Drizzle caramel in a zig zag pattern on top of each treat and store in freezer until ready to serve.
