Sequence Step
1Melt butter in a small dish in the microwave, set aside. Combine 1/2 cup buttermilk with 1 Tbsp of cornstarch in a saucepan. Bring to a gently boil whisking constantly until thickened. Beat egg and 1/2 cup buttermilk in a small bowl. Slowly add buttermilk/cornstarch mixture to egg/buttermilk mixture whisking constantly to temper egg. Pour mixture back into saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat and add melted butter and lemon juice. Add salt
