| 1 | Preheat oven to 375F or 350F if using a glass pan. | 2 | Mix together sugar, sour cream, egg, and 2 tablespoons butter. | 3 | Add mashed bananas and 1 tsp vanilla extract and mix well. | 4 | Add flour, salt and baking soda and mix well. | 5 | Pour into greased 8x8 pan or baking dish. | 6 | Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into middle comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting. | 7 | To make frosting: Mix together butter and powdered sugar. Slowly add milk and vanilla until desired consistency. Frost cooled cake. |
