cupall-purpose flour

cupsbroth, vegetable, swanson, fat free

cupsmilk, whole homogenized

teaspoonWorcestershire sauce

can (28 fl oz)tomatoes canned, diced

tablespoonhoney

teaspoonsalt

teaspoonblack pepper

tablespoonsbasil, fresh, chopped

Steps
Sequence Step
1Melt butter in a large stockpot.
2Add garlic, finely diced onions, leeks, carrots and celery to butter and cook for 5 minutes.
3Remove pan from the heat and add the flour, stir until flour is incorporated. Add broth, milk and worcestershire sauce, stir and return to the burner.
4Bring soup to a simmer for several minutes. Add tomatoes and honey and simmer for 20 minutes.
5Add salt and pepper to taste, basil and rice wine vinegar. Simmer for 20 more minutes. Serve.
