Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
2In a large bowl in pour the 3 cups of rolled oats, the 1 cup of slivered almonds, the 1 cup of cashews, and the 1/3 cup dark brown sugar.
3In a separate bowl, combine the 1/3 cup maple syrup, 1/4 cup oil, and 3/4 teaspoon salt. Combine both bowls and pour onto 2 sheet pans.
4Cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to keep a consistant color.
5Remove the overall mixture from the oven and pour into a large bowl.
6Lastly, add dark chocolate chips and stir in until evenly distributed.
