1/3
cupsall-purpose flour
1
cupsugar
1
teaspoonbaking powder
1/2
teaspoonsbaking soda
1
tablespoonvanilla extract
1/2
teaspoonssalt
3
largeegg yolks
1
cupbutter
1/2
cup, choppedwalnuts
1/2
cupssemisweet chocolate baking bits
1/2
cupchocolate chips, bittersweet
1
cupmilk
Steps
Sequence Step
1Mix all dry ingredients into a bowl (except chips and nuts).
2Add softened butter to the dry mixture and mix well until it looks grainy but there''s no chunks of butter unmixed.
3On another bowl blend all wet ingredients.
4Add the wet ingredients to the dry and butter mix and beat on high until all completely mix and smooth.
5Pour the batter into a greased ( I grease and flour the pan) baking pan or cake pan.
6Spread the chocolate chips and nuts on top of the cake before putting it in the oven.
7Oven should be at 350 F. Once it reaches that temp, place the cake and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until you until a tooth pick or knife and it comes out clean.
8You can put a frosting or topping of your choice.... I usually melt the fudge topping (store bought) and just throw it right on top while still warm. The cake will soak it up and become fudgy. After you let it cool for a while you can serve...or if u like it warm you can still serve it after it becomes manageable.
