cup, shredded2% italian cheese blend

Steps
Sequence Step
1Cook lentils in 5 cups of water low heat for a couple of hours until they are fully cooked but not dissolved. Check on them often to make sure they don''t over cook. If the water evaporates before they are cooked, just add more.
2Stirfry the veggies (onion, peppers and garlic).
3Put all ingredients in the chopper/bender/food processor... with the exeption of the cheeses.
4Blend until they form a lumpy paste.
5Pour into a bowl and add the cheeses, then stir until the cheeses are part of the mixture.
6In a pan (or a round "egg pan" for the shape) Heat and spray with cooking spray. Make sure that the pan is hot enough to start cooking right away before you pour the lentil mixture and shape into burger shape.
7Cook until golden brown, flipping as you see fit. Then serve as you wish...whether in a bun or on lettuce. Have it your way! :)
