| 1 | Pour oil in a large kettle add garlic (chopped), basil, oregano. Stir so garlic does not burn. | 2 | Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste stir until all is incoroprated. | 3 | After all has been mixed thoughly and has cooked for at least 45 minutes on medium low heat add sugar and garlic powder. Add salt and pepper to taste | 4 | Stir so not to burn check frequently. Turn burner down to low after adding sugar. | 5 | If you find that it is to thick addd some water or tomato juice. let simmer for at least another 30 minutes. | 6 | Pull of stove and let cool. Divide into individual containers allowing to cool further. |
