cup, packedbrown sugar

cups, slicesapples, peeled, cored and diced

tablespoonsLime juice, raw - or 1 TBSP

teaspooncinnamon, ground
Steps
Sequence Step
1In a medium saucepan combine apples, 3 T sugar, 2 T water, 1 T lime juice, 1/2 tsp cinnamon.Bring apple mixture to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer for 8-10 minutes or till apples are very tender.
2Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, adn baking soda. Cut in butter till mixtre resembles coarse crumbs. Press half of the flour mixture into the bottom of the 9x13 pan. Spread with apple filling. Gently press rest of flour mixtre evenly over top of fliling. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
